Meet in Shandong: Farmers’ Painting Exhibition

This colourful exhibition is part of the Meet in Shandong series of informational videos and exhibitions about China’s second largest province, presented by the Chinese Embassy in Ireland. The birthplace of Confucius and China’s biggest exporter of agricultural products, Shandong is a cultural and economic hub on the East coast of China. 

This exhibition, of over 40 original works in the traditional Chinese style, showcases the farmer’s paintings on poverty alleviation and the promotion of rural revitalization to reach the prosperity and development of rural culture, and the improvement of people’s livelihood.
