Sogo Performance of Children’s at the Stage
Children of Korean school wear traditional Korean clothing called ‘Hanbok’ and perform a Sogo dance to children’s folk songs and teachers’ skits.
Sogo literally means small drum—it is a double-headed hand-held drum played with a beater. Like many drums, it is decorated with a taegeuk, a tri-color roundel symbolising yin-yang. Sogo are found
in popular music where the players march and dance.
