Established in 2008 by Dublin City Council, Dublin Lunar New Year aims to develop and showcase the best of East and South-East Asian culture in Ireland.
To this end, Dublin Lunar New Year works collaboratively with a broad range of public and private organisations, members of the Asian community from Dublin and beyond, with a view to leading and further developing one of the most dynamic cultural festivals in the Irish calendar of public events.
Dublin Lunar New Year has developed a highly successful model which is unique in Ireland and is widely regarded as one of the most creative and innovative Lunar New Year Festivals outside of Asia.
The festival is committed to showcasing Asian culture and heritage to our existing, new and wider audience base. It also seeks to explore the intricate rich and diverse connections between our nations while promoting interculturalism.
Dublin Lunar New Year is interested in developing mutually-beneficial partnerships with like-minded organisations for the 2023 festival and beyond.
