Let’s Get Creative is an inclusive, accessible, online workshop, devised to inspire creativity in children of all ages and abilities. Running monthly, these sessions give children around the country and beyond the opportunity to connect with the Gallery.

Celebrate the Year of the Horse through a creative exploration of shape, movement, and imagination. Children will learn how the horse symbolises strength, energy, and good fortune in Chinese culture, and transform these ideas into playful handcrafted artworks — a gentle and inspiring way for families to welcome the new year together.

For the activity, children will use card to create their own abstract horse-themed artworks inspired by Picasso’s cubist shapes.
